- On répète, on reformule, on doute

About
Wherever work depends on speech, language decides who gets to take part. Yahvox removes that constraint.
The need
Any organisation that crosses a border meets the same obstacle. It isn't document translation — that gets solved. It is live speech: the meeting where decisions are made, the call where terms are negotiated, the exchange where a problem is understood before it becomes expensive.
Three answers exist today, and none of them holds.
- Impose a common language. Those fluent in it speak; the others go quiet. The best ideas lose out to the best pronunciation.
- Bring in an interpreter. Effective, but you must book, pay and wait. Unthinkable for a ten-minute call, an incident on a production line, or a question at a service desk.
- Improvise. Gestures, phone translation, approximations. You believe you understood each other, and the mistake surfaces later.
The real cost is almost never counted: the markets left unopened, the misunderstandings repaired afterwards, the capable colleagues nobody hears.
What Yahvox changes
Without Yahvox
- Meetings happen in the strongest speaker's language
- An interpreter is booked days ahead
- Informal exchanges never take place
- You repeat, rephrase, and still doubt
With Yahvox
- Everyone speaks the language they think in
- A link is enough, the moment you need it
- The conversation flows, small talk included
- You understand each other — and recognise the person by their voice
Everyone speaks their own language and hears the others in theirs. The delivery keeps the speaker's real voice: their timbre, their pace, their hesitations. That detail matters, because a synthetic voice makes people hear a machine where they need to hear someone. In a negotiation or a consultation, trust travels through the voice.
Who needs it
Anywhere people who share no language must talk in order to work, decide, or be helped.
Manufacturing & supply chain
Supplier audits, equipment commissioning, production incidents with teams spread across several countries.
Healthcare & social care
Consultations with patients who don't speak the local language, coordination across international teams, multi-country clinical trials.
Logistics & transport
Drivers, warehouses, customs, chartering — jobs spent talking all day to people from everywhere.
Public services & charities
Service desks, reception of foreign nationals, social support, emergencies — where misunderstanding has immediate consequences.
Education & training
Classes, technical training, tutoring, seminars: opening content to audiences who don't share the speaker's language.
International trade
Negotiation, import-export, trade shows, supplier relations: persuading in the other party's language, in your own voice.
Recruitment & HR
Interviews, onboarding, appraisals: assessing real ability rather than linguistic ease.
Support & customer care
International assistance without multiplying teams per language, or pushing the customer to a distant time slot.
Travel & hospitality
Bookings, concierge, incidents: answering immediately, in the guest's language, without a fixed script.
Research & NGOs
Scientific collaboration, field missions, humanitarian coordination where no interpreter is available.
Where we stand
Language must not decide who gets to speak
That is why Yahvox exists. Not one more translation tool: a way for skill, experience and the right idea to count for more than the language they happen to come in.
Being forgotten
A good interpreter is barely noticed. We aim for the same: nothing to install, nothing to learn, no extra screen to watch. You speak, people understand you.
Your voice belongs to you
A voiceprint is biometric data. It is never resold, lent, or used to train anything. It exists to render you, and nothing else. You can delete it, and it is genuinely deleted. See our privacy policy.
Saying what the product does — and what it doesn't
Machine translation sometimes gets it wrong. Voice cloning has limits. We would rather say so than let you discover it mid-meeting. Yahvox suits everyday professional exchanges; it does not replace a sworn interpreter where the law requires one.
Where we are
Yahvox covers 17 languages and runs in the browser, on desktop and mobile alike. The product is young: it moves fast, and feedback from our first users weighs heavily on what we build next.
